Welcome to the Wilson Avenue Area Merchants Association web site. WAMA is a new merchants association located in Chicago's Uptown Neighborhood. Our boundaries are Montrose Avenue (south), Lawrence Avenue (north), Ashland Avenue (west) and the Lakefront (east).
WAMA was formed in 2007 by a handful of longtime WIlson Avenue area merchants and residents. In the past year, WAMA has been working diligently to make the Wilson/Broadway Avenue business district a safe, pedestrian-friendly environment that is welcoming and supportive to all in our diverse community. We hope you will join us in our commitment to build a strong, vibrant business district!
